The past month has been overwhelmingly full of BERRY FUN TIMES!!! I haven't even had time to upload new pics and events onto the blog....so here goes!!
ELLA'S FIRST BIRTHDAY!
The first Berry Fun Event was Ella's first birthday!!!! It's already been a year since the Berry's were blessed with the presence of precious Ella Christine! It's unbelieveable how fast time goes. Here's some pics of the super cute dress Nicole was given and decided to use as the party theme, all the way down to the cakes! She's so super creative!
Ella's first weekend visit!
The very next weekend, we were blessed to have Ella's first weekend visit with Uncle John and Aunt Pepper!!! It was so much fun! Our most exciting event was visiting Klay and Marsha's 8 week old puppies, Sadie (beagle) & Sawyer (Bassett Hound).
Let me out of this cage!!!
We took her to a park and let her swing. She loved it! Look at those cute cheeks!
I was trying to get a shot of the beautiful brown eyes that Ella got from her mommy, but I got this cute shot instead. She's already a little praiser! You can't help but love her!
OUR 5TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!
On August 16th, we celebrated our 5 year anniversary! It's amazing to reflect on the past 5 years and see where God has brought us not only in our relationship with each other but our personal relationships with Him! He has blessed us beyond measure and continues to do his work in us through every situation we encounter. I feel so blessed to walk through this life with John. We are definetly different, but we balance each other out in so many ways. I love everything about him-even the corny jokes. John and Denice, John's parents just celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary and I can't wait to reach that year with John and see all that God has blessed us with!
Justin Friel Turns 21!!!
Our adopted college student, Justin turned 21 this past weekend and we threw him a pancake party because he loves pancakes. He invited about 15 close friends and we ate up some pancakes, bacon, sausage, and fruit! Justin's favorite pancakes are chocolate chip, so we made him a large collection and stuck his candles in the stack! Justin lived with us for a couple months this summer and helps us with the youth! He is an amazing young man and John and I talk about how blessed we would be if our sons were like him.

God continues to bless us so much! While things aren't perfect, we know we are growing in him daily and we are excited to see his hand on our lives through every moment! We are so "Berry" Blessed!
